It was also suggested to take a picture of our Web Master for the Timberon newspaper. Restroom facilities for the Mary Glover Park was discussed. Everett thanked B.F. and Gwen Adams for investigating the units at Jontel Septic Tank in Alamogordo, New Mexico. There are used units available that came from White Sands and cost $600.00 per unit. A Johnny’s Jon unit would cost $120.00 per month to rent. Everett advised it would cost $400.00 for a wide load transport to bring one of the used units to Timberon. It would also cost approximately $3500.00 to $4,000.00 to have it installed with two septic tanks. There was a question if it would be cheaper to have a cesspool instead of a septic tank? This will be looked into prior to the next meeting. Bill Gideon made a motion to buy one of the used units for $600.00. Donna Millar seconded the motion and it passed. There was discussion on having the October TDC meeting in the Mary Glover Park with hot Over Page 2 dogs & hamburgers etc. to follow. Gwen also made an announcement the Extension Club was sponsoring a community dinner at the church on Tuesday, August 14th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
